The iconic M-65 Field Coat Jacket from the American company TruSpec® is a faithful representation of the legendary M65 jacket. Introduced to the US Army in 1965, it replaced the M-1951 jacket, which was an improved version of the M43 model from World War II. The M-65 jacket proved itself during the Vietnam War, from where it owes its popularity and a multitude of users around the world. Designed as an all-season jacket, it was initially produced only in two colors: Olive Drab (OD) and Olive Green (OG-107 shade).
Wind and waterproof fabric composed of 50% nylon/50% cotton, characterized by high durability and abrasion resistance. The fabric is saturated with dyes that maintain the natural color for a long time and are resistant to fading. The set includes a 100% polyester, detachable padded lining.
Four deep outer pockets with flaps - two at hip level and two at chest level. The M-65 is zipped with a metal lock covered with a fabric strip that protects against wind and driving rain, fastened with press studs.
A wind-protected stand-up collar with a metal zipper includes a retractable hood. Two M-65 width adjustments: at the waist and at the bottom of the jacket.
The jacket is manufactured according to U.S. military specification MIL-C-434555J, (ACU MIL-DTL-43455K).
Washing and ironing - do not use detergents and bleaches, follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label.
