The inspiration for the design of this shirt was the badge of the Hussars Squadron of Death, commanded by lieutenant Józef Mocę-Nowicki. The squadron entered the pages of history as an elite and invincible unit of the Polish cavalry during the Polish-Bolshevik war of 1920. The symbol of the corpse skull placed on the badge manifested contempt for both his own life and the life of his opponent, while the cross meant the defense of Christian values against Bolshevik atheism.
